Michael Ellis is an associate in the Miami office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Appellate Practice. While attending Florida International University College of Law and serving as President of FIU Law's Moot Court Team, Michael interned for three judges at Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal: Judge Emas, Judge Miller, and Judge Lindsey. After graduating with honors, he served as Judge Lindsey’s law clerk.
Michael remains heavily involved with FIU Law's Moot Court Team, serving as head coach of various competition teams to help law students develop brief-writing and oratory skills.
Prior to law school, Michael worked at the Florida House of Representatives as an Editor/Journal Writer.
