Alexandra Eckrich is an Associate Attorney at the Cleveland office of Lewis Brisbois. She specializes in general liability and civil litigation. Alexandra prides herself on her work ethic and passion for advocacy for her clients. During her time at the University of Akron School of Law, Alexandra was a member of the nationally- ranked competition Trial Team. During this time, Alexandra competed nationwide in tournaments against the best advocacy programs in the nation remaining personally undefeated. Alexandra has placed in the Final Round of the National Trial Competition for this region in 2018. Alexandra received the only Plaintiff's verdict out of over 24 teams at a competition held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Alexandra is now an Assistant Coach for the University of Akron Trial Advocacy Program, coaching teams that also compete nationwide. In her professional experience, Alexandra has worked for various levels of government, the private sector, and for philanthropic organizations. Alexandra worked as a law clerk for the Coast Guard Cleveland Legal Office, the Air Force Youngstown Legal Office of the 910th Airwing, and county prosecutor's offices. Alexandra worked as a law clerk for a civil general litigation firm in Akron, Ohio handling product liability actions, general liability action, and insurance defense.
Pro Bono & Philanthropy
Alexandra actively engages in philanthropic work. Currently being involved in pro bono clinics serving indigent clients in the Cleveland- area, helping others is an important aspect of Alexandra's life. Alexandra participates in her law school's attorney- student mentorship program hoping to serve other young lawyers seeking guidance in their own lives and careers.
Alexandra was selected by her prior firm to give a speech for over 150 attorneys and judges in the Cleveland/ Akron area regarding major cases of whistleblowing and corporate leaks involving large law firms. At The Ohio State University Alexandra was selected to present her thesis at The Midwest Slavic Conference before academics from around the country.
