Cristina L. Dulay is an attorney in the Newark and New York offices of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Professional Liability and General Liability Practices. Cristina focuses her practice on defending malpractice claims against attorneys, accountants, architects, engineers, and other miscellaneous professionals. She also has extensive experience defending owners, contractors, developers, and corporations in construction cases including New York Labor Law matters and premises liability. Cristina has substantial experience in handling all phases of litigation and practices in the state of New Jersey, New York state, and Federal courts.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Cristina served as a trial attorney at a union-side firm, where she gained extensive litigation experience in various areas, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, bankruptcy & workouts, and foreclosure defense. In that capacity, she obtained multiple verdicts and negotiated six-figure settlements for her clients. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

In 2000, Cristina was awarded the distinguished Fulbright Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State. She spent her time in the Philippines learning Tagalog and studying Pacific Rim growth and sustainable development challenges from the effects of colonialism. During law school, Cristina clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice at the Executive Office for the U.S. Trustee and was a summer law clerk to Honorable Walter J. Tolub, New York State Supreme Court, Civil Division.

Cristina serves as a board member for the Hoboken Community Center, which also manages the Hoboken Food Pantry and MBS Urban Renewal Housing Program/Hoboken YMCA.
