Benjamin J. Coudret

Associate

Ben Coudret is an associate in the St. Louis office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability Practice. Since joining the firm in early 2019, Mr. Coudret has assisted in defending clients in countless products liability, toxic tort, general liability and personal injury matters, a majority of which have been causes of action alleging exposure to asbestos. His experience in these matters includes taking numerous depositions of plaintiffs and other fact witnesses, preparing and responding to extensive written discovery, drafting dispositive motions, preparing cases for trial, and drafting various pre- and post-trial motions. He is also routinely brought in as part of the St. Louis office’s “trial team” to provide a wide range of assistance on matters that proceed to trial.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Coudret began his legal career representing clients in employment, civil rights, and personal injury matters, where he was responsible for all phases of litigation. He has experience arguing various motions in state and federal trial courts throughout Missouri. Mr. Coudret has also argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
