Angela Cooner is a partner in the Phoenix office of Lewis Brisbois, and she is a member of the Construction and General Liability Practice. Ms. Cooner has been a licensed attorney since 2001. She has experience in a wide variety of areas including construction litigation, complex commercial litigation, professional liability, fiduciary duty, product liability, premises liability, real estate litigation, first party bad faith, community association (HOA and Condo) law, and appellate law. Her experience includes all aspects of litigation, alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”), and trial practice. Ms. Cooner obtained her Rule 114 mediator certificate in 2001 that was required to act as an ADR Neutral in Minnesota, and continued providing ADR services in Arizona over the past 15 years by assisting parties resolve complex disputes as a private, evaluative mediator, an arbitrator, and a judge pro tempore. She also has experience in regulatory matters, legislative advocacy, and testifying in front of Arizona’s House and Senate.

Pro Bono & Philanthropy

  • Ms. Cooner volunteers her time as the Litigation Liaison for Arizonans for Fair Contracting and provides lobbying services on behalf of American Subcontractors Association of Arizona.
  • Ms. Cooner also volunteers her time as a Maricopa County Judge Pro Tempore, where she conducts settlement conferences, and covers judicial calendars.
