Kathleen Cason is an associate in the Hartford office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Kathleen is a first-generation college graduate and attorney. While attending law school at the University of Connecticut, Kathleen served as the editor-in-chief of the Connecticut Journal of International Law. She also completed internships with Connecticut Community Law Center and Equal Justice Works. As a law student representative, Kathleen obtained a grant of political asylum for her client at the UConn Asylum and Human Rights Clinic, for which she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award.

Prior to joining the firm, Kathleen was a clerk in Connecticut Superior Court and practiced employment law at a boutique law firm.
