Frank Carni is an associate in the Dallas office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice. He helps clients by investigating data security events and interpreting the ever-changing state, federal, and international laws governing data breach response. Frank also advises clients as they navigate through regulatory investigations arising from data security incidents. He has experience assisting public and private clients in the health care, legal, retail, technology, education, and government sectors, among others.

Before focusing on incident response and crisis management, Frank served as lead in-house counsel on a complete global web presence redesign project where he managed the development and implementation of privacy policies, terms of use, and legal copy review in over 25 countries for a major medical device company. He has successfully resolved international commercial disputes and has led responses to formal inquiries from domestic and international regulatory bodies. His background in negotiating complex commercial contracts, managing domestic and international litigation, and crafting swift responses to governmental bodies in highly regulated industries provides a broad foundation of experience from which he can build comprehensive advice in complex crises.
