Mark J. Brown


Mark J. Brown is a partner in the Las Vegas and Nashville offices of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice.  He played football and ran track in high school, which earned him a scholarship to Williams College (best liberal arts college in the country). He went on to obtain a law degree from S. J. Quinney School of Law located in Salt Lake City, mainly to enjoy the slopes of Snow Bird and Alta Resorts. He had an immense passion for skiing.

In the 1980s, as Las Vegas, Nevada was a growing market in the legal field, Mr. Brown took a position in Las Vegas. He went from an associate, to running his own practice and later a partner in one of the largest firms in the country. He also practiced for Hartford Insurance as a senior staff and trial attorney for the state of Nevada.

Mr. Brown moved to Tennessee three years ago, practicing remotely and flying back to Las Vegas for Trials.

Mr. Brown has been married for 34 years and has 3 children. His oldest son graduated from UTK Law in December 2020. His middle child will be attending law school this fall, and his youngest is in high school.
