D’Asia Bellamy is an associate in the Atlanta office of Lewis Brisbois. Ms. Bellamy is a litigator with substantive experience and familiarity with a wide variety of practice areas -- from insurance defense to transportation and complex commercial and business disputes. Ms. Bellamy's expertise includes all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, written discovery, taking and defending depositions involving both fact and expert witnesses, significant motion practice, and mediation. She has assisted firm clients in obtaining favorable summary judgment rulings and preparing first-chair oral arguments in state courts throughout Georgia. Ms. Bellamy represents numerous clients, including business owners, corporations, third-party logistics companies, freight brokers, motor carriers, and manufacturers. Ms. Bellamy is a skilled, forward-thinking attorney who brings a unique perspective to her practice, enabling her to look beyond traditional tactics and prevail in high-stakes litigation. She has successfully adjudicated cases via dispositive motions and secured favorable resolutions in high multi-million-dollar exposure cases.
During law school, she completed judicial externships for the Honorable Steve Jones in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Honorable Cristal Brisco in the Saint Joseph Circuit Court in Mishawaka, Indiana. She also provided legal representation to clients as a Notre Dame Clinical extern.
