Angela Baez is an associate in the Akron office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Complex Business and Commercial Litigation Practice. Angela advises clients on business related matters, and assists in claims involving fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, bankruptcy, amongst others.

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Angela served as a judicial law clerk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. While serving as a law clerk, Angela assisted the judge by briefing and drafting opinions and oral rulings regarding topics such as bad faith filings, preference transfers, exceptions to the automatic stay, student loan dischargeability, amongst others.

Angela earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College and her Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law. While at Spelman, she studied abroad at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
