Marla Almazan

Marla Almazan is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Products Liability and Toxic Tort & Environmental Practices. Ms. Almazan's primary focus is the defense of companies against claims involving exposure to asbestos in complex toxic tort litigation. Ms. Almazan has extensive experience representing equipment manufacturers, construction product manufacturers, premises owners, and distributors and suppliers of a wide variety of products. Ms. Almazan is versed in all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts and has enjoyed great success in obtaining dismissals, summary judgments, and favorable settlements for her clients. 

Ms. Almazan’s considerable experience in Products Liability and Toxic Tort/Environmental litigation provides her a unique ability to obtain positive results for clients through aggressive motion practice or by leveraging dismissals early in the litigation process. She has been successful with creative motions, discovery, and investigation. Ms. Almazan works closely with the client to create innovative strategies to best serve her client's goals and interests. 

Ms. Almazan has been recognized as a Rising Star by Superlawyers and was named one of the The Top Women Attorneys in Southern California.
