Suzie Allen


Suzie Allen is an associate in the New York City office of Lewis Brisbois. As a member of the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity team, she assists clients in responding to data security incidents and other privacy matters. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Suzie worked for Leidos as a contractor for the Department of Health and Human Services. There, she investigated and advised HIPAA covered-entitles in response to complaints made by the public and incidents where protected health information was compromised as a result of a data security incident. Suzie earned her law degree at New York Law School where she was a Fellow for the Center for Law and Technology and focused on analyzing the evolution of privacy discourse and the ethical use of smart technologies by city municipalities. While in law school, Suzie also interned with the Future of Privacy Forum and was the lead author on a published blog post that reviewed the framework of the Quayside smart city project in Toronto. She also received a certificate in Privacy Law from New York Law School and holds a CIPP/U.S. credential.
