Candidates should have some college and at least a year's clerical experience in a professional office, a law firm is a plus. This position calls for someone who follows instructions well, works hard and efficiently, who loves organization, and enjoys using new computer programs. A records clerk in our office must to be efficient in Microsoft 2010, both in Word and Outlook. Records clerks are required to multitask and keep up file management for a team of 4 or 5 attorneys. We utilize electronic files here so being comfortable with scanning and uploading documents is a must. Records clerks must become somewhat familiar with legal documents and enjoy processing them for the support of the team.
