Real Estate Associate - Temecula/Indian Wells

The Temecula and Indian Wells Offices of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP are actively seeking a talented and highly motivated associate attorney to join our Public Agency, Environmental and Real Estate Practices. Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:

  • Three to five years experience, including three or more in public agency, real estate/land use/environmental law 
  • Strong writing, research and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to contribute to and be a part of a team of professionals
  • A commitment to excellent client service
  • Dynamic personality and desire to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities will include legal research and writing, both in the transactional and litigation contexts, knowledge of how to work with public agency rules and regulations, drafting of agreements with agencies for developers, a working knowledge of the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, the Subdivision Map Act, CEQA/NEPA, and the ability to work with staff members of various agencies and general knowledge of land planning, environmental and engineering issues impacting land development.

The work will include attending public hearings both during the days and evenings. A background in government relations is a plus.

All candidates must possess California Bar membership, solid academic credentials and organizational skills. Please do not respond to this ad if your credentials do not meet the above criteria.
