Quality Assurance Clerk - Los Angeles

The Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP is seeking a Quality Assurance Clerk who will collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to assist in tracking a large volume of insurance defense cases. A strong understanding of legal database management is needed.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a large law firm setting requiring direct contact with Partnership and with Clients is a plus. Insurance company and/or Project Management experience, a plus.
Preferably in the process of securing a BA/BS. Paralegal Certificate not required but preferred. Working knowledge of Concordance (or similar database software). Expert follow up skills required. Proficiency using Excel software and familiarity with Excel formulas, functions and data visualization a plus. Proficiency with PowerPoint a plus. High level of understanding regarding data and the importance of accurate and uniform data tracking measures. Thorough understanding of Client guidelines, reporting compliance measures and effective follow-up techniques to ensure project/task completion. Out of the box thinking a plus. Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs and follow instructions/requirements without fail.
Ability to multi-task a wide variety of duties and complete them in a timely fashion, in line with varying deadlines. Ability to work on repetitive tasks for a long period of time, reading, extracting, summarizing information from status reports and updating the database.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the QA team, Management, and Attorneys. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).
