Office Administrator - Las Vegas Sahara

Lewis Brisbois a national law firm with over 1,600 attorneys and 54 offices seeks a full-time onsite Office Administrator for its Las Vegas, Sahara location office. This office currently has twelve (12) attorneys and six (6) staff and is expected to grow. This office location specializes in the defense of workers’ compensation matters.

The position reports to the firm’s Chief Administrative/Human Resources Officer and the local Office Managing Partner. The responsibilities include supervision of all non-attorney staff, including paralegals, heavy human resources duties, facilities and office services responsibilities. Some financial, technology and marketing activities may be required but are mostly handled from the firm’s Los Angeles office. Attorney and staff recruitment experience are essential functions of this role, and office relocation and/or remodeling experience is a plus.

Must be team oriented; have excellent management and leadership skills; ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing; willingness to take on firm-wide projects as appropriate; strong cost control skills; professional, fair, and respectful demeanor; ability to work well with superiors, peers and subordinates; and able to execute the firm’s policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner. Experience with defense-side litigation is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in related field or a minimum of five years’ work-related experience in a similar managerial role required.
