Seth Friedman is a partner in the Atlanta and Nashville offices of Lewis Brisbois and a National Co-Chair of the Insurance Coverage Practice and National Vice-Chair of the Bad Faith Litigation Practice. Seth has extensive experience claim counseling and litigating in a wide variety of insurance coverage areas including: general liability, pollution, construction defect, first party property, fidelity, employment, professional liability, errors & omissions, public entity liability, surplus lines, asbestos and, toxic torts. Seth also has extensive experience with examinations under oath, fraud, and arson claims.

In addition, Seth has extensive experience handling bad faith claims and suits. He routinely assists his clients in navigating potential bad faith issues pre-suit, including responses to time limited demands.

Further, Seth has extensive experience handling appeals, including many successful appeals in state and federal courts. Seth has handled appeals in the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, Tennessee Court of Appeals, and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Seth routinely obtains positive results for his clients, including prevailing on dispositive motions. He understands the needs of his insurer clients and excels at finding cost effective and innovative ways to resolve the complex problems they present to him.

Seth frequently publishes and speaks on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. He is a member of the ABA Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, and was the Co-Chair of its 2021 annual conference.
