Craig Holden is the Co-Administrative Partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois, and a national Co-Chair of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Practices.

Mr. Holden is a skilled first-chair trial attorney who has litigated matters in state and federal courts across the nation. “[E]xceptionally well-tried” is how one judge characterized Mr. Holden’s successful trial performance in a post-trial order, adding further that it was akin to watching “chess masters” or “professional pitchers throwing…no hitters.” In addition to his active trial practice, he has served as lead counsel in numerous international and domestic arbitrations.

Mr. Holden manages a wide range of domestic and international commercial matters, with an emphasis on litigation, trials, and arbitrations involving complex and contested business transactions, intellectual property, unfair competition, entertainment, shareholder, and high-stakes disputes. His clients range broadly from NASDAQ 100 and multinational companies to entrepreneurs and entertainment companies. In his intellectual property practice, Mr. Holden has served as lead counsel in copyright, patent, trademark and trade secrets litigation – representing both plaintiffs and defendants – involving a wide range of products and content from prominent computer technology to Grammy Award winning music.

Mr. Holden's success emerges from his ability to simplify complex cases and develop winning strategies, as well as his ability to instill confidence in clients as he guides them through complex litigation and transactions. Clients continually seek out Mr. Holden to manage their legal affairs because they appreciate his cut-to-the-chase focus and results-oriented approach.

The legal industry has recognized Mr. Holden for his leadership and his accomplishments throughout the course of his career. For example, he has been repeatedly recognized in the “Best Lawyers in America” edition by his peers, as one of the “Top 100 Lawyers in California” by the Daily Journal, selected to Super Lawyers by Thompson Reuters, named “Minority Power Broker” by Law360, “Most Influential Black Lawyer” by Savoy Magazine, and “Advocate of the Year” by Public Counsel.

Mr. Holden is a member of the firm’s management committee, and has served on various corporate and charitable boards. He has also held leadership roles in multiple think tank and civic organizations, including a leadership council for the Rand Corporation, a non-partisan think-tank focused on cutting edge issues relating to business regulation and civic justice.
