Ryan Cook is an associate in the Jackson office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice.

Ryan, CIPP/US, focuses his practice on cybersecurity and data breach response, assisting clients who have experienced data compromises through ransomware, email breaches and other types of cyber-attacks. Ryan helps guide his clients through the pre- and post-incident response process, and assists them with navigating the cyber regulatory landscape. He also works with expert forensics teams to proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities within his clients’ systems. He helps guide his clients through the critical initial response phase,coordinating forensics investigations and system restoration, and assists with reporting/notification obligations arising from cybersecurity incidents.

Ryan also has valuable experience in transportation, products liability and general tort litigation. He has represented defendants in all stages of litigation, through trial and alternative resolutions.

Cyber Breach Response
Ryan is part of a team of trained attorneys who provide data breach response services. He helps guide his clients through the critical initial response phase, coordinating forensics investigations and system restoration, and assists with reporting/notification obligations arising from cybersecurity incidents.
