Don Forgey Named Alumni Mentor of the Year
Los Angeles Partner Donald G. Forgey has been named the Alumni Mentor of the Year by Southwestern Law School. He was honored with the award at the annual reception for the Alumni Resource Network at Southwestern.
Los Angeles Partner Donald G. Forgey has been named the Alumni Mentor of the Year by Southwestern Law School. He was honored with the award at the annual reception for the Alumni Resource Network at Southwestern.
The alumni network involves a computerized directory of alumni volunteers in different legal specialties that is available for Southwestern students. The directory was established several years ago as a way to connect law students with experienced alumni in the community who serve as mentors to the participants.
This is the first year the Alumni Mentor award has been given. Forgey shared the honor with Southwestern alumna Heidi Yoshioka.
Forgey also serves as an associate adjunct professor in the school’s Graduate Advancement Program for recent graduates. The program is an intense, two-month internship in the practice of law.
