Los Angeles, California (March 8, 2017) – Lewis Brisbois is proud to support its former attorney, Robert Ahn, in his campaign to fill an empty slot in Congress created when Rep. Xavier Becerra left to become Attorney General of California.

The firm will hold a reception in support of Ahn on Thursday, March 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at its Los Angeles office, located at 633 W. Fifth Street, Suite 4000, Los Angeles, California.

Born and raised in Los Angeles to South Korean immigrants, the 41-year-old Ahn was an attorney at Lewis Brisbois before moving on and becoming a Los Angeles city planning commissioner appointed by Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Ahn is running against 22 other candidates in an April 4 special election primary to fill Rep. Becerra’s seat. If no single candidate obtains more than half of the vote, a general election runoff is scheduled for June 6.
