Florence McClain Interviewed by Law360

San Francisco Partner Florence McClain was recently interviewed by Law360 for an article titled “Stakes High for J&J at Start of Latest Baby Powder Trial.”

The article looks at the latest trial against Johnson & Johnson over claims that its talc-based baby powder causes ovarian cancer. The company has already been hit by three multimillion-dollar verdicts and faces more than 1,000 cases with similar allegations, in addition to centralized litigation in California and New Jersey.

McClain offered her critique of the case, and commented that she thinks Johnson & Johnson’s biggest challenge will be “thinking outside the box.”
