Seattle Partner Emmelyn Hart Prevails in Washington Supreme Court and Prevents Further Review of Favorable Decision

The Washington Supreme Court issued an order denying petitioner’s attempt to secure further review of an unpublished decision from the Court of Appeals, Division I. Because the Supreme Court denied further review, the Court of Appeals’ October 2015 decision to affirm trial court orders denying post-trial motions for an additur or a new trial and judgment notwithstanding the verdict and treble damages following a seven day jury trial remained intact. Trial counsel was partner Heather Jensen.
