Lewis Brisbois Welcomes Two New Partners To Our Los Angeles Office

Los Angeles, CA (May 2, 2016) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Schaffer, Lax, McNaughton & Chen attorneys Kara A. Pape and David M. Frishman as partners in our Los Angeles, CA, office.

Kara M. Pape’s practice focuses on transportation, products liability, and insurance coverage. She has extensive trial experience. She has developed a specialty in commercial vehicle litigation, catastrophic personal injury claims, sexual abuse cases, insurance coverage, and claims involving government entities.

Ms. Pape is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and the Alpha Sigma Nu and Pi Gamma Mu Honor Societies.

Ms. Pape is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court, Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts. 

David M. Frishman’s practice focuses on a wide range of complex and high exposure bodily injury, wrongful death, property damage, and business related matters in the areas of products liability, premises liability, commercial transportation, warehouse and cargo liability, and construction related matters. Mr. Frishman has extensive experience in all aspects of case handling and litigation, including alternative dispute resolution, trial, and appellate court proceedings.

Mr. Frishman is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.

Mr. Fishman is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court, Central District.
