Our attorneys are experienced in representing manufacturers, distributors and retailers in a wide array of products liability litigation. We are frequently selected to represent clients as regional or national coordinating counsel in large exposure cases. We have extensive experience in handling products liability litigation involving automobiles and their component parts, motorcycles, recreational products, industrial machineries, medical devices, pharmaceutical drugs, consumer products, home appliances and elevators/escalators. Lewis Brisbois has developed a substantial practice in representing manufacturers based in Asia and is experienced in meeting the specialized needs of those concerns. Our attorneys have the language skills to coordinate with our trial counsel in the defense of Japanese entities. Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith
Our attorneys have extensive experience in interpreting and providing opinions on all types of insurance contracts and in representing insurers in complex coverage claims and extra-contractual, “bad faith” litigation. Lewis Brisbois regularly provides defense for a variety of personal injury and property damage claims. Our attorneys are skilled in handling a wide array of matters, including litigation and trial of catastrophic injury, wrongful death and significant exposure cases in the fields of construction, transportation and premises liability. We regularly and successfully defend significant economic damage claims derived from lost earnings, lost pension and benefits, and life care plans.

Lewis Brisbois’ admiralty and maritime attorneys are strategically located throughout the United States with particular focus on major ports, energy and maritime insurance centers. We handle transactional work including preparing and negotiating agreements relating to the creation, commercialization, licensing, franchising, and transfer of intellectual property rights.
