San Francisco, California (January 10, 2017) – Lewis Brisbois is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its Immigration Practice on the West Coast with the addition of the 13-person, San Francisco-based Meyer Law Group.

Partners Brandon Meyer and William Taylor, Associates Paul Chen, Monica Bathija, and Sarah Ayres, along with eight support professionals, bring with them a dedicated practice serving corporations and foreign national employees in a full range of advisory and employment-based immigration matters.

“We are thrilled to welcome such exciting talent to Lewis Brisbois,” said named partner and co-founder R. Gaylord Smith, speaking on behalf of Lewis Brisbois’ Management Committee. “Brandon and his team have proven themselves to be energetic and dynamic and will be key in providing a new service to our clients and unlocking further potential with entrepreneurs and international practices across all areas and geographies. Their abilities will also enhance the existing suite of immigration services already provided by our Corporate and Employment Practices, including H-1B and EB-5, as well as practices handling trade and regulatory matters.”

Brandon Meyer joins Lewis Brisbois with nearly a decade of experience in all business immigration practice areas, including immigrant investor matters, non-immigrant visas, immigrant visas, national interest waivers, and immigration compliance.

“We’re excited to join forces with Lewis Brisbois and look forward to offering existing and new clients of both firms added value and greater efficiencies,” Meyer said. “We would especially like to thank Robert Lewis for showing faith in our team and offering us the opportunity to share in the values and overall vision he has worked hard to build over four decades.”

Joining Meyer at Lewis Brisbois is William Taylor, who has more than 16 years of experience in U.S. and global immigration, corporate relocation, assignment management, and cross-border tax compliance.
