Valerie Edwards to Speak at Construction Insurance Conference

Fort Lauderdale Partner Valerie Edwards will speak at the 2^nd Annual Insurance in the Construction Industry conference, held August 16-17 in Miami.

Ms. Edwards will present “Ethical Considerations in a Complicated Defense” on August 17. The talk will explore several topics including the tripartite relationship, conflicts created by an insurer’s reservation of rights, defending a named insured and an additional insured, wrap program considerations, and the “mutually agreeable” counsel requirement.
