Rima Badawiya to Speak at Diversity Event

San Bernardino Partner Rima M. Badawiya will discuss women in the legal field at an event called "Breaking Barriers with Badawiya" at noon on September 12 at the Vanderbilt University Law School Hyatt Room.

With women of color making up only 5.8 percent of law firm equity partners, the Vanderbilt University Law School's Middle Eastern Law Student Association and Women Law Students' Association have asked Badawiya to share her story of diversity and dedication.

Badawiya will draw on her considerable personal experience to discuss promoting and retaining women in the legal profession. She will provide in-depth strategic guidance on the barriers to advancing women in the legal profession and the opportunities and benefits that it presents to our legal community.
