Mark Oertel to Speak at Surety Law Conference

Los Angeles Partner Mark Oertel will participate in a panel titled “Proactive Steps: What Steps Can the Surety Take to Minimize the Risk of Adverse Decisions?” at the American Bar Association’s Fidelity and Surety Law 2018 Midwinter Conference, which will be held January 24 to 26 in Washington, D.C.

The panel will discuss proactive steps that a surety can take to minimize bad decisions resulting from a principal’s involvement in binding arbitration.
