Lewis Brisbois Recognized for Female Partner Promotions

Bloomberg Law recently listed Lewis Brisbois as one of only 21 AmLaw 100 firms announcing a partner promotion class of 50 percent or more women, further recognizing Lewis Brisbois' position as an industry leader in the promotion of female partners.

The publication conducted its own analysis in the wake of the 2016 Diversity and Flexibility Alliance, which found that Lewis Brisbois promoted more female partners last year than any other firm. Twenty-five female partners were promoted out of a total of 39 promotions. 

Bloomberg Law reached similar conclusions regarding the percentage of female partner promotions among the legal industry’s largest law firms, determining that only 36.7 percent of all promotions go to women, compared to the 63.6 percent figure at Lewis Brisbois. Read the full article here.
