Fort Lauderdale Partner Geoffrey Lottenberg has received board certification in intellectual property law from the Florida Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization and Education.
Board certification distinguishes lawyers as having special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in their field, as well as a reputation for professionalism and ethics. Only seven percent, or approximately 4,800 members of the Florida Bar have earned board certification.
Lottenberg was rigorously evaluated by the board before receiving certification. He was required to receive a passing grade on his written examination, satisfy a peer review assessment, and meet legal education requirements.
Lottenberg’s practice focuses on intellectual property procurement and enforcement, business and technology law, and complex intellectual property and commercial litigation. He represents clients in a variety of matters, including patent and trademark infringement, false designation of origin, unfair competition, and misappropriation of trade secrets matters.
