Kyle Waldie is an associate in the Orange County office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Employment & Labor Practice. Kyle Waldie represents employers in all types of employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, prevailing wage, and wage and hour claims. Mr. Waldie has a solid advice and counsel practice, which includes assisting his clients in correcting the misclassification of employees, wage and hour audits, payroll violations, and revising employee manuals. Mr. Waldie also has extensive experience advising clients and resolving disputes without litigation.
When the need arises, Mr. Waldie can handle every aspect of litigation, from initial discovery through trial. Mr. Waldie has represented clients in state and federal trial courts, appellate courts, and before numerous state and federal administrative agencies and in arbitrations. Mr. Waldie has experience with class action lawsuits, particularly class actions involving claims for unpaid overtime, off the clock work, misclassification, and meal and rest periods. Mr. Waldie has received successful verdicts for clients in bench and jury trials, as well as arbitrations. Mr. Waldie has also successfully briefed and argued in California's Second and Fourth District Court of Appeals. In addition to his employment litigation practice, Mr. Waldie has experience litigating business, insurance, and construction defect matters, including complex litigation and class actions.
