Griffen is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology, Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, and Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practices. Griffen’s intellectual property practices include patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright litigation in both state and federal courts. Griffen's practice also includes complex business litigation, false advertising and unfair competition litigation, and real estate litigation. Griffen has argued dispositive and other motions in a number of courts in the state of California, has participated as a member of trial and arbitration teams, and has argued in the California Court of Appeal.

In addition to litigation, Griffen's practice also includes trademark prosecution and non-litigation enforcement of intellectual property rights. Griffen is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional, United States ("CIPP/US") and assists clients in data breach counseling and response.
