Nicole R. Roggeveen is an associate in the Orange County office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Ms. Roggeveen's practice is emphasized on matters involving government entities, transportation, hospitality, personal injury and premises liability. She has experience in all aspects of litigation, from inception through trial. Her experience extends to the appellate level, where she has argued before various Courts of Appeal.
Ms. Roggeveen began her legal career with a reputable firm in Orange County, where she represented numerous southern California counties, cities, police/sheriff's departments, and officers/deputies in civil litigation, at both the State and Federal level. She then joined a larger firm in the Inland Empire where she practiced civil litigation in the areas of general liability, government entity defense, including, but not limited to, school districts, animal services and code enforcement, and insurance defense. She joined Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith in 2015.
Between 2011 and 2014, as a member of the Warren Slaughter Richard Roemer American Inn of Court, Ms. Roggeveen gave annual presentations on topics ranging from attorney ethics to the future of the practice of law. Additionally, during the Fall of 2013, Ms. Roggeveen taught a legal research and writing course to law students at the California Desert Trial Academy of Law.
