Ms. Nguyen is an associate in the Orange County office and a member of both the Healthcare and General Liability practices. She engages in all aspects of litigation from inception to appeal of complex actions in state and federal courts. Her broad range of experience includes representation of individuals, employers, hospitals, medical and surgical centers, physicians, nurses and all ancillary staff in cases involving allegations of negligence, medical malpractice, premises liability, personal injury, products liability, ostensible agency, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, fraud, wrongful death, and invasion of privacy.
Ms. Nguyen is experienced working in all aspects of litigation, with comprehensive exposure to all phases of litigation, including aggressive discovery, extensive law and motion work, consisting of vast and varied experience in discovery motions and pre-trial motions, and oral argument before superior courts across Southern California. Ms. Nguyen has also taken, defended, and prepared clients for countless depositions, including depositions of parties to the action, percipient witnesses, persons most knowledgeable, expert witnesses, and police officers. She is well versed in the California discovery rules to take swift action to prevent any discovery misconduct through Informal Discovery Conferences, Motions to Compel, Motions to Quash, or direct conferences with superior court judges. Ms. Nguyen also has experience negotiating and mediating cases to successful resolution.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Nguyen worked as a litigator, directly handling matters pertaining to personal injury, medical malpractice, employment, and wage and hour issues.
In law school, Ms. Nguyen was a member and national team competitor for the Appellate Moot Court Executive Board, for which she received awards in excellent overall performance, brief writing, and was named regional semi-finalist in the American Bar Association National Moot Court Competition.
