Eugene Lee is an associate in the San Francisco office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. He focuses his legal practice on general liability litigation representing high tech companies, insurance carriers, non-profit organizations, commercial and residential property owners, product manufacturers, and contractors in various litigation matters including claims for personal injury, defective construction, products liability, and breach of contract issues.
Mr. Lee has extensive experience handling all phases of civil defense litigation in both federal and state courts, including arbitration, negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, trial and appeal. He has also filed and successfully argued many dispositive motions, in both state and federal court, in addition to preparing successful motions at all states of litigation.
Mr. Lee’s community involvement includes serving as a board member of the Korean American Bar Association of Northern California and co-chair of the pro bono committee. Through his work with the Korean American Bar Association, Mr. Lee has organized pro bono clinics throughout the Bay Area to serve low-income communities. Mr. Lee also actively participates in the Korean American Bar Association’s mentorship committee.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Lee worked at two Bay Area law firms, focusing his practice on general liability, commercial, and banking litigation. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Lee was a public school teacher in the Bronx through the Teach for America program.
