Shane Kotlarsky is an associate in the Houston office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. His practice focuses on complex litigation, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, and products liability. Shane prides himself on his diverse litigation experience, having previously worked on a wide variety of matters, ranging from litigating commercial disputes, trucking accidents, and workplace injuries to defending employers in Title VII employment discrimination litigation. He was also a part of the defense team in the litigation stemming from the May 2013 explosions in West, Texas. This experience allows Shane to provide a different perspective to effectively and aggressively represent his clients’ interests.
Shane earned his Juris Doctor in 2012 from Tulane University Law School. While at Tulane, Shane served as Senior Managing Editor for Volume 19 of The Sports Lawyers Journal. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 from the Rice University.
