Parisa Khademi is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Ms. Khademi has significant experience defending employers in individual and multi-plaintiff lawsuits regarding workplace discrimination, retaliation, failure to accommodate, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims. Ms. Khademi represents employers in state and federal courts, before arbitrators, as well as in administrative matters before the DFEH and EEOC. She also provides counseling and advice for clients on a broad spectrum of employment-related issues with an understanding of the dynamic legal landscape of California and national employment laws.
Ms. Khademi handles employment law disputes at all stages: pre-litigation, litigation, trial, and appeals. In 2016, Ms. Khademi second-chaired a pregnancy discrimination trial in Los Angeles which resulted in the plaintiff dismissing her case in the middle of cross-examination.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Khademi worked at one of the nation’s preeminent appellate firms where she assisted in briefing appeals in state and federal courts, including in multiple cases before the United States Supreme Court.
