Jasmin Yang is a partner in the Los Angeles office and a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice. She has significant experience litigating in state and federal courts in California and Arizona, including matters involving complex commercial, banking, real estate, contract and business tort disputes, as well as bankruptcy litigation. She has additional experience defending Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) disputes. She has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including the solar, financial services, and real estate industries.

She has handled all phases of discovery, motion practice, and pre-trial proceedings. She has significant appellate experience and has obtained appellate victories before the Ninth Circuit and the California Court of Appeals.

In addition, Ms. Yang has made significant contributions to community and charitable organizations. She serves on the Advisory Council of Dress for Success West, an organization whose goal is to assist women in entering and staying in the workforce.

  • Obtained peremptory writ of mandate from California Court of Appeals in quiet title/unlawful detainer litigation
  • Obtained pre-judgment turnover of collateral on an ex parte basis over debtor opposition on behalf of secured creditor
  • Successful defense of mechanics' lien claim on behalf of private equity fund
  • Obtained Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals victory for bank client regarding Bankruptcy Code single asset real estate definition
  • Prosecuted and obtained nondischargeability judgment for creditor in bankruptcy adversary proceeding
  • Prosecuted lawsuit and collected over $3 million on account of unpaid invoices for solar manufacturing company
  • Prosecuted lawsuits and and collected over $1 million in unpaid invoices for factoring client
  • Defended and settled multiple preference demand lawsuits on behalf of real estate brokers and apparel manufacturers
