Jill Collins is the managing partner of the Albuquerque office of Lewis Brisbois, National Co-Chair of the Insurance Coverage Practice, and a member of the Bad Faith Litigation and General Liability Practices. Her practice is devoted to defending insurance companies in New Mexico, and providing coverage opinions involving personal and commercial lines. Ms. Collins routinely litigates declaratory relief actions and defends insurers against first party and third party bad faith claims. She represents insurance agents in cases involving alleged failure to procure adequate insurance and has defended real estate agents in failure to disclose cases. In addition, Ms. Collins has defended insureds in construction defect, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. 

Ms. Collins is the Editor of Lewis Brisbois’ Southwest Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Newsletter. She has also lectured and provided training seminars to insurance companies on New Mexico’s insurance coverage and bad faith laws.
