David Artman is an associate in the Portland office of Lewis Brisbois where he specializes in health care, professional liability, and data privacy matters. He is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice through which he assists clients remediate data security incidents. Mr. Artman also advises businesses and nonprofits on compliance with state and federal consumer protection and privacy laws to prevent litigation and manage risk. He also works closely with the Asbestos Litigation Practice and has handled all phases of discovery and motion practice up to trial.
Mr. Artman was recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine in 2015, 2016, and 2017 for his litigation practice. He is fluent in French and conversational in Mandarin, having lived and worked for six years in France and Taiwan.
